Ottimo 2° per il duo Ceci-Amos nella tappa più lunga del ADDC
Altra ottima prestazione, quella di oggi, nel Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge per il nostro navigatore Paolo Ceci e il suo pilota Eugenio Amos. In questa quinta e penultima prova del mondiale FIA del Cross Country Rally 2021 continuano ad arrivare buone prestazioni dal duo Ceci-Amos a bordo del SSV Can Am Maverick. Nella seconda tappa, anche la più lunga di questo rally tra le sabbie degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, dopo gli oltre 470 km di cui ben 333 km di prova speciale, il risultato finale è stato il 2° nella loro classe T4 ma anche il 6° assoluto tra le auto. Dalle affermazioni dello stesso Paolo Ceci a fine tappa, la prova di oggi è stata veramente difficile e complicata però ne siamo usciti con un ottimo tempo tanto da essere sesti assoluti e secondi di classe. Quindi siamo stracontenti e ad ora siamo al 7° nella generale con le auto e al 3° della T4 dove abbiamo solo 3 minuti di distacco dai primi e pochi secondi da chi ci precede. La gara è ancora lunga, mancano 3 tappe. Oggi è stata una tappa quasi al cento per cento sabbia, molte molte dune bella impegnativa e quasi 5 ore di speciale quindi bella tosta. Siamo contenti, Can Am va molto bene e il pilota è velocissimo quindi siamo strafelici, continuiamo così. Domani, di nuovo partenza dal noto circuito di Yas Marina Bay per altri 327 km con 293 km di prova speciale e ancora tanta sabbia per questa terza del Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2021.
